The tour will be offered during the Ten Days of Repentance (in Jewish observance) from September 8- 12, 2013/ 4th-8th of Tishrei. 

The City of David invites the general public for an unforgettable series of nighttime tours leading up to the High Holidays. The guided tour combines a walk in the footsteps of the early residents of the city and its most active characters, alongside authentic musical accompaniment which sets the tone of the Days of Repentance. At the conclusion of the tour one is welcome to continue to the Western Wall Plaza for the recitation of selichot from midnight onwards. 
 
  • Duration of the tour is estimated to be two hours and includes entrance to the underground Warren's Shaft System. Entrance is to the dry tunnel, not Hezekiah's water tunnel. 
  • A Place for Forgiveness is a guided tour with musical interludes. 
  • Activity Times: Tours will begin every 30 minute between the hours of 8pm and 11pm  
  • Price List: 65 NIS per Adult/ Senior (60 NIS Discounted price for internet reservations)
