An activity that is appropriate for the whole family. Takes place in an enclosed area inside Emek Tzurim National Park.
An archaeological experience uncovering remnants from the Temple Mount. Includes interactive guiding and sifting through archaeological rubble. Come discover finds from the Temple and the Temple Mount dated to different time periods!
- The activity will take place from Thursday, November 28, 2013/25th of Kislev, to Thursday December 5, 2013/2nd of Tevet.
- Hours of Operation: 8:00am- 4:00pm.
- Guided activity in English at 9am and 12pm

The Valley Race- A Cell Phone Navigation Game for the Whole Family
Riddles, challenging tasks completed with the use of a smart phone, and most important of all- it’s all about Jerusalem!
- The activity runs about 1 ½ hours.
- The activity is appropriate for the whole family and does not require physical exertion.
- Currently available in Hebrew only!
Important Information:
- Advanced registration is required for groups.
- It is recommended to register in advance for all tours and activities.
- Ample parking available at the Beit Orot parking lot (The Mormon University) and the Hebrew University parking lots.
- Public transportation that stops at the Hebrew University: 4, 19, 23, 26, 28. The 48 line stops at the Beit Orot Parking Lot.
- There is a snack shop on site.
- The Valley Race route is about 2 km long.
- Duration of activity – depends on the group.
- Recommended for ages 6 -70.
- The tour is suitable for people who enjoy walking.
- The Valley Race is available for smart phone owners- one can activate the game by scanning the code QR.
- Hot tea will be served to all participants.
